Getting 3D printing Texture in Your Rendered Models

The bump map was created to show the raised bumps of the texture to resemble the laying of the plastic as seen in 3d Printing. I used my own white ABS plastic as a representation. There after the bump map was repeated in the z direction and the material was given a subsurface scattering so it has an interesting reaction with the light to illuminate from the inside as those seen in candle wax as a more extreme case of this light phenomenon.

As one can see in the node tree set up. This was a rather simple material to make and it looks so life like to the real thing. Just needing add seam and minor imperfections and it would be exact to what would be seen in real 3d prints.
